Health Service Development

The project will directly employ about 2,500 persons bringing the total wage-earning population in the country to about 64,500. Thus, the project will be employing about 3.8% of the total wage-earning population in Swaziland. These employees will in turn support their families at higher standard of living than couuld probably be derived from subsistence farming and other employments. In addition to offering employment, new townships will be developed in the project area based on the provision of services to estate and employees including medical services and recreational amenities.
