HealthHub Finland - the future of Healthcare shaped by a Hub of partners facilitating data-driven digital solutions in Finland and Europe

The environment we live in is being profoundly changed by the digital technologies, the critical role of which has been further emphasized by the COVID-19 crisis, demonstrating our reliance on them. HealthHub Finland (HHFIN) is focused on leading the digital transformation of healthcare through data-driven innovation. HHFIN has the aim of facilitating new and emerging data-driven solutions created by SMEs in Finland and Europe that shape the future of healthcare domain in Europe and beyond. To do this, the project will offer multidisciplinary co-creation opportunities for European companies and public healthcare providers, that create digital solutions in the fields of a) health care, b) pharmaceutical development, c) medical imaging, d) diagnostics, and e) genetics. HealthHub Finland partners have digital excellence while dynamically interacting with the healthcare industry, focusing on a) research and development, b) uptake of innovations, and c) business growth. Being able to provide services at all TRL levels, the objective is to help each EDIH customers to improve in their TRL and digital transformation maturity. The EDIH partners include universities, basic and specialized care providers, regional development organizations and companies operating in the domain of digital health and data. Organizations involved in this EDIH initiative already offer a wide-range of test-before-invest services that focus on real-world a) evidence (incl. health data), and co-creation facilities. All the services revolve around the identified SMEs basic needs. HealthHub Finland has a nation-wide presence, and strong connections to multinational stakeholder organizations, including European Connected Health Alliance, Euro-Bioimaging ERIC, BBMRI ERIC, EEN, and European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP).
