Description
Description | This EMDM proposal builds on the Erasmus + KA203 Strategic Innovative Educational Network for Healthy Ageing, SIENHA project, which was set to support Healthy Ageing among European countries through the competence development of social and health care professionals. The demographic transition of ageing influences all European societies, changing the health status of the population and is one of the major challenges especially influencing health and social care, education and employment. Therefore, there is an urgent need to address challenges related to the governance of ageing societies, which calls for deliberate and foresighted innovation of educational, social and health care environments that equip and prepare professionals with capacities focusing on prevention, health and wellbeing using evidence-based practices and interprofessional work. The A-well EMDM project will develop a full European Joint Master program and prepare the application to be presented for the EMJM. The objectives of the A-Well project are to develop the future curriculum structure according to the needs of the society, communities, labor market, and stakeholders linked to healthy ageing and in agreement to the quality standards of the EQAR. We aim to attract excellent students and professors worldwide to foster innovative and evidence-based learning and create promoting shared leadership and capacity to achieve educational, social and health-care political impact. The A-well consortium is composed by seven partners across Europe, ensuring geographical representation, cultural and social differences, inter/transdisciplinary teams and perspectives that helps to co-design and co-create an innovative educational model. This will be based on real-context problems, cooperative interprofessional learning among students, professors, stakeholders and community as a basis to develop creative, technology-based and innovative solutions that are cost-effective, easily implemented and scalable |
