Description | This project will increase access to cultural infrastructure by creating a visual arts hub. The studio will host art displays, interactive exhibits, performances and special events. It will also show the positive relationship between the Town of Ladysmith and the Stz’uminus First Nation. The project work includes: - construction of egress and ingress providing access to 2 artists studios; - accessible boardwalk; - indoor display space; - entry points, stairwells and foyers; - a multipurpose teaching space; - a meeting space for Arts, Culture and Heritage Groups; - washrooms; - landscaping and rehabilitation of the outdoor performance area; and, - all related works. |
