Description | On 27 January 2011, the Xuanhua District Yangfang Wastewater Treatment plant was formally transferred by the Xuanhua District Government to a private company, Kaidan Water International Group, a subsidiary of the Israel based TAHAL Group for RMB 270 million. This is the first state owned water assets transfer agreement in Hebei Province. The concessionaire was selected on an open competitive basis. The total treatment capacity of the wastewater treatment plant is 120,000 cubic meters per day. The plant came into operation in October 2006. Kaidan registered a local company Kaidan Water Affairs Xuanhua Development Co., Ltd. to 100% own the Yangfang Plant and operate the facility for 30 years. |
