Description | In April 2015, a local private company Anhui Guozhen Environmental Protection Science & Technology Co. Ltd. won a bid to finance, build and operate the Qingxi Wastewater Treatment Plant in Hefei City, Anhui Province. The concession term (including construction period) was 29 years. Construction of the plant commenced in November 2015. The design treatment capacity of the facility was 200,000 tons per day. The total investment was US$ 169.25 million (RMB 1054 million) and Anhui Guozhen had a 100% stake in the project. The plant was an underground one to prevent pollution to the community. |
