The Hegang No.3 Peoples Hospital in the northeast Chinese province of Heilongjiang (Hegang No.3) is a hospital in the middle national category 3B. In addition to classic clinical functions, the hospital's work focuses primarily on the areas of gynecology, obstetrics, pediatrics and neonatology. As part of this project, a new hospital is to be built on a new site near the city center of Hegang and equipped with medical equipment. The new building is a government decision of the city of Hegang, which is due, among other things, to the very poor condition of the current hospital. The dangers resulting from these structural defects are to be eliminated by the new hospital. The new building also includes the merger of the current Hegang No.3 with the Maternal and Child Care Service Center of Hegang Mining Group Co. Due to the consistent professional orientation of the two hospitals, synergies are to be leveraged and a new urban center for women's and children's health is to be established. The purchase of modern medical equipment is intended to improve treatment options as well as the quality of diagnosis and treatment. The new hospital thus qualifies for the highest national category 3A.
