Helena Concrete Floodwall Replacement

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is planning to replace the concrete floodwall in Helena, along the west bank of the Mississippi River. The new floodwall will be designed as an inverted T-type continuous concrete wall, which will comprise individual concrete T-Wall monoliths with a continuous sheet pile cut-off wall and will be constructed to the current height of the floodwall. The project includes replacing all four of the current swing gates for access to the river side of the floodwall. The location and size of the swing gates may vary from the current configuration.
