Description | Helios Power (Bulgaria) developed the 2.0 MW Zelena Svetlina solar plant. The plant was commissioned in June 2012. The tariff for the project is EUR 248.3/MWh, for a period of 20 years with EVN. Project life is 25 years. The equipment was provided by Mitsubishi International Corporation, supplying CSUN Quasar 260 series - 60P solar panels, from CEEG Nanjing Renewable Company Ltd. (CHina). The inverters were supplied by SMA Solar Technology AG, Tripower 17000TL-10 (1080ENDE). The support structure was supplied by Ellon. Annual maintenance costs are EUR 0.013/kWh. Insurance for the project is provided by ALLIANZ. Corporate tax rate is 10%. Total project cost was unavailable, but the average cost in 2011 was US$3.9 million/MW: US$7.8 million. Financial closure date was estimated at June 2012, date of commissioning.
