Helping Hand Honey Project

The primary business objective of the Helping Hand Honey Project is to grow the honey industry in the Highlands Region and Papua New Guinea. The project is focusing on training bee farmers and empowering rural farmers to become beekeepers and earn a sustainable income through honey production and sales. The project ensures every trained beekeeper, farmer, and rural family unit venture into the commercial honey business and earn a steady income, becomes self-reliant, and improved their standard of living. Honey production and sales are the main project objectives of the project taking the leading roles to ensure the trained farmers are encouraged and motivated to culture the honeybee business. The bottom line is to empower rural communities and individuals to be self-reliant and earn a sustainable income to sustain their livelihood hood be economically independent. The project is expected to see success because of the drive and determination of the project Director Mr. Kelly Inae. Mr. Inae is a very determined person with passion and determination to empower family units in rural communities and also empower women and youth to be honey beekeepers and farmers. The success of the project is expected because of the skill, knowledge, and expertise bestowed to more than 3600 farmers who were trained under the Helping Hand Honey Project, and as result seen the industry is growing. The outcome and success are immense which had impacted rural communities and family units that are involved in honey farming and production. Success is expected because of the technical know-how, skills, knowledge, and years of experience and training. Helping Hand Honey Project needs financial support from the investor to for the following scope of work; establish an additional Production facility and purchase machinery and equipment to increase honey production; joint product development and establishing storage and distribution outlet; establish market access etc.
