Description	In March 2006, a local private company Chongqing Kangda Environmental Protection Co. Ltd. took over a wastewater treatment plant in Shangqiu City, Henan Province. The plant capacity was 80,000 cubic meters per day. The company would operate the plant for 25 years. Chongqing Kangda Environmental Protection Co. Ltd. invested RMB 90 million (US$ 11.29 million) in the plant and owned 100% of the project.
