Description | The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is scheduled to begin a roadway safety and improvement project at the intersection of SR 13 (Hendricks Avenue) and San Marco Blvd in Summer of 2024. Janus Construction has been selected to complete the intersection modification project which includes a realignment of the crossing that will provide improved pedestrian and bike movements through the intersection. Other safety improvements of this project include new traffic signals, new roadway lighting, pedestrian safety upgrades, bike lane enhancements, widening of the roadway and sidewalks, milling and resurfacing, new signage and other incidental construction. |
