The project is focused on drawing the European Union closer to its citizens. Its aim is to provide relevant information about its mission and help the participants to feel more identified with the EU. The project is also based on the current events, visible throughout Europe. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted communities and caused divisions. The war in Ukraine brought the increase of solidarity in all nations. The European Union has offered peace, stability, and unity. These three pillars create the main determinant of the project. The European Union is not only a community of states, but it also provides shared values of its citizens. Now, in the times of crises, it is necessary to inform about the values so that the citizens may become more associated with the EU and its policies. The goal of the project is to start a discussion on the future shape of the EU and its future policies. This is closely related to the development of European awareness. The project is also focused on cultural and linguistic diversity in Europe. There will be 5 nations present, together with several ethnical minorities. Each of them will have the opportunity to present its language, culture, and identity. Thanks to this, there will be space for mutual understanding and building connections. People will meet each other with no prejudice regarding ethnicity, sex, or age. The added value will be in strengthening solidarity, interest in volunteering, and civic engagement. In order to meet the project goals, the following priorities will have to be fulfilled: - strengthening European awareness - development of solidarity among nations - building firm relations based on the membership in the EU - searching for opportunities to help other people when they need it - strengthening cooperation between non-profit sector and self-governments
