Herkoz 65-acre Mixed-Use Development

Herkoz Inc. plans to expand Miami-Dade's Urban Development Boundary to develop a 64.8-acre mixed-use project in the Princeton neighborhood. The project includes 1,200 homes comprising 79 single-family homes, 275 townhouses or villas, and 846 multifamily units, along with 90,000 square feet of retail space. The development would be near the South Dade TransitWay's new station and includes plans for a pedestrian walk, bicycle path, and street extension to improve connectivity. The maximum building height would be 12 stories, with 20% of homes reserved as workforce housing.
