The project planned a capacity of 60,000 tonnes per annum and involved flat-rolled products with scope to diversify. The joint venture, Utkarsha Aluminium Dhatu Nigam Ltd, acquired 110 acres in Nellore for the facility. However, the project was found commercially unviable due to insufficient demand and other market constraints, and the closure process is being finalized. |
