Description

The project includes construction of 10.8 kilometres of two-lane freeway with bridge structures over Mill Lake, Little Indian Lake and the Ingram River. For adjacent properties whose access will be severed by the twinning, the project includes approximately 5 kilometres of access road on the north side connecting to the Ingramport Interchange. A bridge structure over Highway 103 is required (connecting Bowater-Mersey Road at Mill Lake with the Nova Scotia Power hydro-electric generating plant). The proposed twinned lanes will be constructed north of the existing lanes.
