Description | The City and the Province propose to make a number of improvements to the Highway 11 corridor between the Trans Canada highway and the Canada/U.S. border crossing. The improvements include: extending the southbound NEXUS lane 1.5 kilometres (km) from south of Vye Road to the border crossing; improving the intersection at Highway 11 and Vye Road; building a railroad overpass on Vye Road, near Highway 11; and extending McConnell Road with an at-grade railroad crossing. In January 2016 a request was made to increase the scope of the project, expanding the at-grade road/rail crossing at McConnell Road to a full grade separation. |
