Highway 11 Reconstruction Project - Phase 2

The Highway 11 reconstruction project consists of adding a lane of traffic to the existing two lane configuration, the full reconstruction of sanitary sewer system, water distribution system and storm system. All service to properties will be upgraded to current standards and enlarged to accommodate current demand. We will reverse the grade on the sanitary line to allow for the Phase 3 to commence. The Phase 3 will involve removing a lift station and considerable bypassing. Addition to this is the replacement of all curbs and sidewalks in the area providing safer pedestrian utilization, adding a bicycle path on the south side to promote healthy community living for summer utilization and snowmobiles for winter utilization. The road will be excavated to 750 mm and the substandard material will be replaced with final step being paving of the Connecting Link.
