Description | The Highway 99 Vine bus service was a pilot project launched in November 2025 as a partnership between Benton and Yamhill Counties. It provided fareless bus service connecting multiple communities along Highway 99, including stops in McMinnville, Amity, Rickreall, Monmouth, Adair Village, Downtown Corvallis, OSU, Monroe, Junction City, Eugene, Eugene Airport, Amtrak station, and the University of Oregon campus. The service was operated by Pacific Crest Bus Lines with four trips in each direction every weekday. The pilot aimed to connect rural communities to a more robust transit system and was funded by the Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund (STIF) discretionary program. |
