Description | Resurfacing of three miles of Highway F-48 West between the South Skunk River Bridge south of Interstate 80 at exit 159 to Iowa Highway 117 in Colfax. The highway is now resurfaced from the west edge of Newton to Colfax. The project was awarded to InRoads LLC of Des Moines with a low bid of $2.55 million. The Jasper County Board of Supervisors approved a federal aid agreement for phase three from Colfax to the Polk County line, funded mostly by a $2.1 million federal grant through the Surface Transportation Block Grant Program. |
