Description | The Highway Project for Uruguay will finance the improvement of National Route ,a first phase of a maintenance program and other related items. This project consists of the improvement of about 485 km of National Route 5, including the widening, and replacement of some bridges; the preparation of a maintenance program, including the procurement of mechanical equipment spare parts, laboratory equipment, and a highway planning study of the country. The project will provide an all-weather road traversing the main livestock, and agricultural production areas of central Uruguay, which will lead to the development of these and other industries. |
