Description | The objectives of this Fourth Highway Project are to: 1) protect capital investment and to increase the service life of essential trunk roads servicing local and transit traffic to other land locked countries; 2) help improve maintenance planning and operations of rural/feeder roads serving agricultural areas; and 3) strengthen institutions responsible for project implementation. In order to achieve these objectives the project will consist of highway rehabilitation and strengthening component, a pilot rural road maintenance program and consultant services. |
