Hixon Volunteer Fire Department Society - Hixon Fire Hall Upgrade

The project will support pandemic response by expanding the Hixon Fire Hall in order to have appropriate space to socially distance and still maintain operational needs. The existing space does not allow for adequate space to train and meet during the pandemic. Currently the engines are moved outside to accommodate training sessions. Other community groups such as Alchoholics Anonymous and 4H are unable to meet. Currently the bays are too short to house the newer longer engines. The project works include: - design and engineering; - site preparation; - construction of an approx. 3000 sq.ft. addition; - related civil, electrical, plumbing and mechanical works; and, - all related works.
