Description | The project includes financing for the development of 3 greenfield waste management facilities and one brownfield waste management plant in Turkey. Heksagon Kati Atik (HKA) and IFC are sponsors. HKA’s operational plant is located in Pamukova, Sakarya (Turkey, Marmara Region). The 3 greenfield facilities will be located in Bilecik, (Turkey, Marmara Region), Soke, Aydin (Turkey, Aegean Region) and Odemis, Izmir (Turkey, Aegean Region). IFC provided a $50 million loan and $20 million equity contribution. The total project cost is $226 million.
