Description
Description | The Hobart Electric Highway Tasmania Fast Charger Network will involve Electric Highway Tasmania (EHT), working with project partners Chargefox and Kingborough Council, to deliver 5 electric vehicle (EV) fast charging stations in Hobart. The Hobart Electric Highway Tasmania Fast Charger Network project acknowledges that Australian EV industry is in the early stages of development. In cities and regional centres, charging blackspots (i.e. areas without convenient access to public fast-charging stations) have been identified as a key barrier to the adoption of EVs for both the public and fleets. This project will increase the availability of public fast charging infrastructure to reduce blackspots and provide convenient recharging options for EV owners. |
