Holland Hydrogen 1 Plant Connection to Dutch Hydrogen Network

The Holland Hydrogen 1 plant, a 200 MW green hydrogen producer located at Rotterdam Maasvlakte, has been connected to the Dutch national hydrogen pipeline network. This connection marks the first direct link of a green hydrogen producer to the national hydrogen infrastructure, facilitating the development of a hydrogen network that interconnects Dutch industry and extends to industry abroad, supporting decarbonisation efforts in the Netherlands and north-western Europe. The hydrogen pipeline, constructed by Hynetwork, runs largely parallel to the A15 and shares an energy corridor with other infrastructure including a CO2 pipeline for the Porthos project. The connection work was performed by Hanab.
