Description | BorgWarner has received an order to supply NMC battery packs with cylindrical cells and a capacity of 57 kWh each for the Holon Urban autonomous electric shuttle. Each vehicle will have two battery packs totaling 114 kWh. The battery packs feature integrated, replaceable contact housing, multi-pack controller, robust stainless steel battery case, and active liquid cooling system. Production will start in Seneca, South Carolina, in Q2 2027, with delivery to Jacksonville, Florida, where the Holon Urban shuttle factory is being built. |
