Description | Plans to establish a significant hydrogen production facility on Anglesey have progressed with the acquisition of additional land next to the original Holyhead Hydrogen Hub site. The extended site now covers 24 acres at Parc Cybi, Holyhead. The development aims to support the region's transition to low-carbon energy and sustainable infrastructure, with potential to scale hydrogen production significantly in the future. Planning permission is already in place for a 1MW electrolyser on the original plot, and further development on the new land is subject to planning approvals and stakeholder engagement. |
