Description | The project comprises the construction of a railway line, dedicated to the transportation of people and freight from Hongshaliang Coal Mine to Mingshui Station on the Linha Railway. The start of the line is located in Mazongshan Town, Subei Mongolian Autonomous County, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, China. Construction started on November 21, 2023. The total length is 97.154 kilometers. The sponsor is Jiuquan Transportation Investment and Construction Group Co., Ltd. - a municipal SOE - with an investment of $380.65m (2.732 billion yuan). The Debt: Equity ratio is 70:30, as the debt providers are not available. The implementation of this project plays an important role in opening up a new channel for "Xinjiang coal to Gansu", enhancing the transportation of coal, iron ore and other mineral resources in Jiuquan City and surrounding areas.
