Horizon Lateral Pipeline

The Horizon Lateral Pipeline is a water system improvement project that will create a second water pipeline running along the southern portion of the Las Vegas Valley. It provides redundancy to the existing South Valley lateral pipeline serving Henderson and southern Las Vegas Valley. The project includes tunneling beneath the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area to minimize environmental and residential disturbances, and expands the conservation area by 9,290 acres. It aims to increase water reliability for over one million Southern Nevada residents and create approximately 1,000 construction jobs.
