Hospital de Tajo PPP project in Madrid

In 2005, Assignia Infraestructuras, Construcciones Sánchez Domínguez-Sando and Instalaciones Inabensa were contracted to construct, operate and maintain Hospital de Tajo and an associated facility management operating company for 30 years, with a possible extension of ten years. This was part of the Community of Madrid's New Public Health Infrastructure Plan (2004-07).The hospital is located in Aranjuez, in the south of the Community of Madrid. It provides clinical services to over 70,000 people from the municipalities of Aranjuez, Colmenar de Oreja, Chinchon, Valdelaguna and Villaconejos. These services are provided directly by the Community of Madrid and so were not included in the perimeter of the contract.
