Description	Based on preliminary studies there is a lack of all kinds of hospital equipment and instruments for the disabled in the Karelian Republic. The Finnish hospitals and institutions are continuously renewing their equipment, which could be used after repair and service. At the moment the equipment disposed of has been stored and will be scrapped. The project will establish repair workshops in two work and recycling centres. The labour needed will be recruited among the long-term unemployed or among people who for some other reason have difficulties in getting employed. Repaired equipment will be transported to the Karelian Republic monthly.
