Replacement of a large diameter storm sewer to accommodate the 100 year storm and therefore mitigate flooding. Currently flooding could reach depths of 0.16 m above the crown of this arterial road. This will reduce both health and safety and environmental concerns. The project scope has increased to include full replacement of the sanitary sewer, within the same excavation as the trunk storm sewer wich has been identified as being in deteriorated condition and therefore a priority for replacement. The sanmitary sewer and truck storm sewer are in the same excavation alignment and therefore the scope chnage makes use of the existing excavation work.
