Description | In September 2008, the Liaoning Provincial Government approved the wind farm project by China Wind Power Group Limited, a Hong Kong based company focusing on wind plant project development in Mainland China. Construction actually commenced in June 2008. The project in Houxinqiu Town, Zhangwu County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province was procured through direct negotiation. The project has a capacity of 49.5MW and the total investment is RMB 531.82 million (US$ 76.08 million). China wind Power has a 49% stake in the project and has established a project company Fuxin Lianhe Wind Power Generation Co., Ltd. to operate the project for 30 years. COnstruction was progressing as of December 2008. According to http://www.cwp-om.com/html/wangzhanlanmu/html/fdc/200812/05-91.html (December 2008), the construction was still going on. The exact financial closing date is unknown. |
