HUB: How to apply the Union’s Charter of fundamental rights on Balkans KEY objective Producing sustainable tools for studying and application of The Charter by all judges and lawyers in Bulgaria, Romania and Greece. Specific Objectives 1. Contributing to the correct and uniform application of The Charter. 2. Increasing understanding of the scope and application of The Charter. 3. Promoting deeper understanding of the methods of combating certain forms and expressions of racism and xenophobia in the context of refugee crisis on the Balkans. 4. Increasing knowledge of the legal systems of the Member States in the field. Activities: Management and Coordination of the Project, Analysis of knowledge level and practical problems in application of The Charter. Selection of participants, Development of a specialized web-site on The Charter including web-platform for distance e-learning,Training activities and exchange of good practices and Dissemination of the results. Type and number of persons benefiting from the project: - 60 judges and lawyers; - 200 law students; - 300 citizens. Expected results: 1. Detailed analysis of the theoretical an practical problems of application for The Charter. 2. Large number of specialized teaching materials. 3. Web-site on The Charter with web-based platform for e-learning installed. 4. Selected and trained 60 judges and lawyers. 5. Six training activities and one general seminar for exchange of good practices and experience. 6. Maximum dissemination and large public information about the project. Type and number of outputs to be produced: training events – 6; general seminar for good practices exchange – 1; problems and needs analysis – 1; web-site with web-based platform for e-learning – 1; training materials: Research – 1; E-books – 5; General/specialized materials – 30; Videos – 4; Press-conferences – 6.
