Howland Library Renovation Project

Construction is beginning on a major renovation project at the Howland Library in Ohio. The renovations include a dedicated children's programming room, private study rooms, expanded collaborative spaces, a dedicated area for teens, a new roof, new carpeting and furnishings, and upgrades to the building's drainage and HVAC systems. The project involves adding 1,400 square feet to the building and is the first major renovation since the library was built nearly 30 years ago. The project is fully funded through the library's capital budget and aims to adapt the space to continue providing high-quality and relevant services.
