Description
Description | EnBW has commissioned a solar park with integrated battery storage in Öhringen, Germany. The project has a capacity of 6.22MWp solar power and includes a 6.1MWh battery system to store and dispatch electricity flexibly. The facility covers 5.72 hectares and includes around 10,000 solar modules supplied by VSun. The battery system enables electricity to be fed into the grid based on demand, independent of solar generation and grid load. Construction began in July 2025 and the plant entered operation at the end of February 2026. EnBW will plan, operate and maintain the project over a 30-year period. |
