Description | Hualing Tbilisi Sea Plaza is a large shopping centre located on the eastern outskirts of Tbilisi, Georgia, near the Tbilisi Sea reservoir. Opened in 2017, it was developed by the Hualing Group as part of the infrastructure for the European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF 2015). The project included building infrastructure for the event in exchange for rights to convert the area into residential housing and a five-star hotel. The mall covers a large area with over 400 shops and has undergone a concept change to focus on home goods. Despite its size and investment, the mall sees few customers and is considered underperforming. |
