Description | In July 2008, AES and its partner state-owned Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to construct and operate the phase II of the Huanghua Wind Farm Project located in Huanghua City, Hebei Province. AES had a 49% stake in the project and the joint venture company Guohua AES (Huanghua) Wind Power Co., Ltd. would operate the facility for 25 years. The wind farm was designed to have a capacity of 49.5MW, and the total investment was RMB 518.7858 million (US$ 74.22 million). Constructions was progressing as planned as of Dec 2008.
