Description	In July 2007, a Singapore company Asia Water Technology was awarded a 20 year contract to build and operate a sewerage collection networks in Huangpi District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province through competitive bidding. The total investment was 330 million Yuan (US$ 43.42 million). Asia Water Technology owned 100% of the project. The capacity of the plant was 450,000 cubic meters per day. The project was implemented by Wuhan Kaidi Water Service Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Asia Water Technology based in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. The facility will serve 1.13 million people in Huangpi District.
