Description | In April 2014, a local private company Beijing Sound Group won a concession agreement granted by the local county government to finance, build and operate three township wastewater treatment plants in Huangping County, Guizhou Province. The total investment was RMB 56 million (US$ 9.12 million) and Sound had a 100% stake in the project. The total treatment capacity of the plants was 5500 tons per day. A SPV, Huangping County Sound Water Affairs Company Limited was established to implement the project. By the end of 2014, substantial construction had been completed, according to a media report. |
