Description | Beijing Sound Environment Industry Group signed an agreement in May 2008 with Zhijiang Municipal Government to construct a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 35,000 cubic meters per day in Zhijiang City, Hubei Province. The project was procured via competitive bidding. Beijing Sound established a project company Zhijiang Zhiqing Water Affairs Co. Ltd. to operate the facility for 25 years before transferring it back to the local government. The total investment was RMB 54 million (US$ 7.73 million), and Beijing Sound owns 80% of the project. |
