Description
Description | The HUD RAD Restore-Rebuild program, formerly known as Faircloth-to-RAD, was an initiative to facilitate the redevelopment and increase of low-income public housing units by allowing PHAs to develop or acquire new public housing units under the Mixed-Finance Development program with a streamlined path to conversion under the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program. HUD has issued new guidance terminating this program by prohibiting new requests for a Notice of Anticipated RAD Rent (NARR) and setting a 90-day deadline for applications already under review to meet certain milestones to continue processing. |
