Description
Description | Related Companies, in partnership with Wynn Resorts, initially proposed a $12 billion mixed-use development called Hudson Yards West, including a casino, office tower, hotel, and residential buildings. Due to opposition, the casino plan was dropped, and the developer now plans to build 4,000 new apartments and a new public park on the site. The revised plan includes replacing a 1,400-foot office tower with two residential buildings, increasing housing units from 1,500 to 4,000, expanding the Hudson Green park from 5.6 to 6.6 acres, and building an office tower with some residential units and possibly a hotel on the former casino site. |
