Description | Related and Oxford Properties are overhauling their proposal for the western side of Hudson Yards in Manhattan, New York. The new plan includes as many as 4,000 housing units, primarily rental apartments, a bigger public green space of 6.6 acres, and reduced density and height of podiums over the railyards. The casino component originally proposed with Wynn Resorts has been dropped due to rezoning challenges and local opposition. The amended plan includes an office tower and potentially a hotel replacing the casino on the north side of the site. The project is moving through the city's uniform land use review procedure with backing from local officials. |
