This Request for Information (RFI) is a preliminary call for international and local Pakistani organizations to provide information and demonstrate their experience, capability and lessons learned working on human rights issues in Pakistan. Prior to submitting the request for information, please review the definition of local organization given in attachment A. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Pakistan’s new Country Development Cooperation Strategy (CDCS) for 2023-2028 includes human rights as a key priority1. To implement this new priority, USAID/Pakistan is in the process of designing the new human rights activity. By issuing this Request for Information (RFI), USAID/Pakistan aims to consult with the broad community of human rights actors and activists, private sector actors, public institutions, development partners, non-governmental organizations, industry associations, civil society and media, legal aid organizations, think tanks, government human rights departments and academia to expand our knowledge about key opportunities for programming. Your response will be used to inform the design of this new program.
