Description | The Longhui County Kaidi Green Energy Development Co., Ltd. was established on 19 June 2007 to develop a biomass power plant in the Longhui County, Hunan Province by the private company Wuhan Kaidi. The registration equity of the company was RMB 81 million. Construction of the power plant commenced on 6 April 2011. The total investment was RMB 297 million (US$ 45.98 million) and the capacity of the plant is 1X30MW. The plant once finished could reduce carbon emission of 180,000 tons per year. Its expected annual revenue was RMB 150 million. According to information release of Kaidi, by 31 December 2011, the total assets of the plant had been RMB 238.02 million, indicating that financial closing had been achieved by then. The project was completed in June 2012. |
