In Hungary, in addition to the national consultation forums related to the Strategy, district-level inclusion roundtables had been established on 83 locations, as well as in 2018, using cohesion funds, social inclusion cooperations have been launched in 18 counties located in convergence regions. On settlement level, related to the Local Equal Opportunity Programmes (Helyi Esélyegyenlőségi Programok; HEP), so-called HEP Forums are operating, the objective of which is to establish cooperation related to the development, implementation and monitoring of HEPs, which are realized as the local leg of the Inclusion Strategy. In order to allow these cooperations operating on different levels to become an institution and to ensure that the specific “steps” of consultation could interconnect and cooperate efficiently, it is necessary to establish inclusion platforms, especially in the areas where the Roma people are overrepresented. Our objective is to establish or continue the inclusion consultation work started, based on the experiences of the Roma Platform projects realized so far, in 4 counties of Hungary (Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, Pest County, Heves County, Baranya County), in the framework of 3 events in each county and in two events on national level. The backbone of the county platforms and the interconnection on a national level are provided by the already operating Roma Koordinációs Tanács (Roma Coordination Council, hereinafter referred to as ROK-T), which cooperates closely with the county platforms, thereby completing the national consulting procedure.
