Hunter's Point South Parcel E Development

The city of New York is seeking a developer for a 70,000-square-foot parcel (Parcel E) within the 30-acre Hunter's Point South site in Long Island City. The project will be a multibuilding complex featuring a mix of affordable and market-rate housing units, commercial space, a community facility, and public open space. At least 60 percent of the housing units must be income-restricted, with a preference for 70 percent. The project may include approximately 850 housing units, 230 parking spots, 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and 16,000 square feet of community space. Proposals with child care or early childhood education centers will be given preferential treatment. Submissions are due in early September 2025.
