Description | A local private company Kaidi Electric Power was granted a contract to build and operate a 30MW biomass power plant in Huoshan County, Anhui Province. Construction commenced in July 2009. The total investment was US$ 45.71 million (RMB 283.21 million) and Kaidi had a 100% stake in the project. The equity contributed by Kaidi was US$ 13.76 million (RMB 85.28 million) and remaining capital was raised from local public banks. A special purpose vehicle, Huoshan County Kaidi Green Energy Development Company Limited was set up to perform the project. Equipment installation was completed in Jan 2013. Commissioning of the plant started in Dec 2013. |
